ANNA WEINBERG,Proprietress

Park Tavern proprietress and New Zealand native Anna Weinberg is an industry vet with a wealth of experience garnered at some of New York and San Francisco’s top restaurants. Weinberg has worked at Danube and Barbuto (New York), as well as Town Hall and Ame at the St. Regis San Francisco. Park Tavern is Weinberg’s fourth restaurant venture; she previously owned Stella in New York (2001) and South in San Francisco (2007), and currently owns the highly acclaimed Marlowe restaurant in San Francisco’s SoMa neighborhood, which replaced South in February 2010 and earned a three-star rating from venerable San Francisco Chronicle Critic and Executive Food Editor Michael Bauer, along with accolades from Time magazine, Food Network magazine, and The Wall Street Journal. Weinberg is also a columnist for San Francisco Chronicle’s Inside Scoop. She lives in SoMa with her husband James, a venture investor and technology executive. Her family still resides in New Zealand, where they produce wine (the Hawkes Bay).


Jennifer PuccioJENNIFER PUCCIO, Chef / Partner
Jennifer Puccio, native east coaster and executive chef/partner of Park Tavern and Marlowe restaurants, is a culinary dynamo that knows how to cook delicious food with flavor. Puccio’s culinary credits include working with acclaimed chef, author, and James Beard Award winner Anna Sortun of Oleana (Cambridge, Mass.), where she learned the art of creating balance while working with bold, bright Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavors. Puccio’s credits include Daniel Patterson’s former restaurant Elisabeth Daniel, Rivoli, famed vegetarian restaurant Ubuntu (Napa, Calif.), Ramblas, and Cortez, where she earned three stars from the San Francisco Chronicle, an honor she earned again in April 2010 for Marlowe.


Dave Stanton

DAVE STANTON, Proprietor
Dave has been widely regarded as a highly successful entrepreneur, technologist, restauranter, real estate developer, leader, and mentor . After “retirement” he co-founded the highly successful Tres Tequila Lounge & Mexican Kitchen. In technology, he founded and sold Companies to HP (Talking Blocks), PSINet (Sage IT Partners), and took a Company public (Xpedior) as CTO. He is now is running a SalesForce consulting Company (Force By Design). Dave has a B.S. from the U.S. Air Force Academy, an MBA from University of Missouri-Columbia.

Design Team
Nicholas Nash and McCreight collaborated with Anna Weinberg to design and build Park Tavern. Nicholas Nash holds degrees from San Francisco’s Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (interior design), and the Univ. of California – Los Angeles. She applies her aesthetic sensibility — clean, neutral and organic — to a range of residential and commercial projects in the Bay area and beyond.  McCreight and his partners at Vonnegut Thoreau utilize a combination of skilled, artisan-style craftsmanship and conscientious management practices in their residential projects and commercial work, with a specialization in historic renovations.
